Swakop Uranium Husab Linear Infrastructure Project, Namibia

The Swakop Uranium Husab Infrastructure Project formed part of the Swakop Uranium Mine and included the infrastructure that will connect the Swakop Uranium Mine with the infrastructure along the two main access roads, B2 and C28. The infrastructure included as part of the project included power lines, a substation, roads and a bulk water line.  Computer modelling techniques and site work were the main factors used to determine the potential visual impact of the proposed project.  One of the main concerns of the public was the potential impact it would have on the tourist / historic route along the Khan Mine.
